The concept of the workplace has changed a lot in recent times. Offices are no longer what they used to be and there is an increasing demand for new spaces in which we feel more relaxed and comfortable working. What are the trends that are going to happen in 2015?
Change the concept of the workspace for 2015.
It is clear to many that we do not work in the same way as we did years ago. And not only because of how the business model or the market of many companies has changed, but also because of how the notion of a company has changed in Spain. Integrating comfort, well-being and creating a workplace that encourages the creation of new ideas is a challenge for 21st century companies. And there are many that want to jump on the bandwagon of new trends and have a conciliatory space with the employee and with themselves. One that fosters employee integrity and well-being and makes employees more committed. A company that plans to modify its offices must also take into account some important aspects before taking the plunge.
- Understand the office as a productive place and organize it according to this maxim: Hierarchy in the office has no place in 2015. Organizing the space according to the activities we perform in them is essential and necessary. A space for the telephone or a meeting room oriented to all members of the company as a differentiator of executive offices.
- Technology as an ally: Using the tools we have as facilitators is a great advantage when it comes to conceiving spaces. Even more so when we live in an era in which we are nomadic at work. Ideas such as teleworking or mobility are on everyone’s lips and we must think about them when we propose changes, if our company is dedicated to these functions we must make special emphasis on all the tasks that we will have to solve on a daily basis. For example, if we use a fleet of vehicles, it is obvious that we will need a garage for them. If our company is environmentally responsible, we will think of equivalent solutions, such as hybrid cars.
- The healthy office:Not only as smoke-free spaces, but we can encourage good habits among employees if we enable sports areas or anti-stress places. And thinking about how to manage these problems in our employees who are not with us all day is essential. Teaching them how to manage the problems that can arise on the road and on the road is absolutely necessary.
These are some of the trends that we can follow for 2015, what do you think may be the trends for this year?
