When we talk about productivity, we need to talk about tools that help productivity. One of the first steps we must take is to acquire devices that are going to help us in all the tasks we are going to perform.

Computer, tablet or smartphone, choose the best for your work.

Each device has its advantages and disadvantages for work, and we must be aware of them before buying one or the other and not end up buying something that will really bring us headaches.

• Computer: this device is the most complete device that we are going to acquire. We can do anything with them, and any work is going to be done from the computer. We should all have at least one computer in our workplace. For mobility issues, today there are very handy, complete and light laptops. However, having a very complete computer, and at the same time very manageable, can be very expensive.
• Smartphone: Every day there are more advances that make our phone more like a desktop computer. The advantage of the cell phone over other devices is its portability and ease of communication. However, a powerful device that allows to simulate a workstation is very expensive and fragile. It can be lost or broken at any time. And in terms of security, it is not as convenient as it could be.
• Tablet: Better than a phone in terms of screen and size, but less portable. It is halfway between a mobile and a computer. For some jobs the best devices are 10-inch devices, and for others 7-inch devices. Tablets can be equipped with certain accessories such as a keyboard that will simulate a computer and that can make our life much easier.

There is no one device better than another for working, and it is best to think about how much mobility you want to use to the detriment of your productivity. Our advice here is to have a computer as a base station to finish work and use the mobile as a device socket and the tablet for document creation, however, everyone will know what is best for them and where they want to invest.
