This is evidenced by the work done by Aruba, the subsidiary of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, who, through The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), has made it clear that mobile work environments benefit the companies that adopt them.

Mobile environment is more beneficial for companies

CIOs must take advantage of the benefits

The study shows that it is the mobile employees themselves (60%) who feel more productive. It is even good to admit that almost 50% say that they also increase their creativity levels. Clearly, these advantages must be added to the proven fact that the mobile environment is a boost to employee satisfaction, which they return in the form of commitment to the company. In this sense, CIOs could achieve an increase in business performance, thanks to well-thought-out and well-executed mobility policies. It is important to highlight that among the businesses that have pioneered enterprise mobility, there has been a notable increase in productivity, creativity, employee satisfaction and the degree of commitment to the company, with a difference of up to 23% with respect to other companies. These data reinforce the undeniable idea that corporate mobility is an investment in attracting and retaining talent, as well as a sure bet for increased productivity. Undoubtedly, the leap towards mobility should be a priority for most companies. The Aruba study interviewed nearly 2,000 workers globally and the report comes to the undeniable conclusion that it is mobile employees themselves who believe that mobile technology helps them to be more productive and creative. To a large extent, workers who work in mobile-optimized environments believe that these qualities are enhanced by the fact that they can work anytime, anywhere, which also increases their willingness to collaborate more effectively and creatively. If CIOs are able to understand this reality and take appropriate action, they will have a highly motivated workforce and be able to retain talent like no other business concept. It is clear that a new landscape is opening up in which the challenge is to become good managers, capable of keeping up with what enterprise mobility demands, so that they can lead teams with remote workforces, capable of increasing the company’s profits.
